Download defakto-cli, the CLI to manage your Defakto resources.

Using homebrew

If you're running MacOS or Linux, you can use Homebrew:

brew install --cask defakto-security/tap/defakto-cli

Direct install

In a new working directory, use one of the following commands to download defakto-cli:

# Linux amd64
curl -o defakto-cli-v0.36.1.tar.gz https://defakto-releases.s3.us-west-2.amazonaws.com/defakto-cli/v0.36.1/defakto-cli-v0.36.1-linux-amd64.tar.gz && tar -zxvf defakto-cli-v0.36.1.tar.gz

# Linux arm64
curl -o defakto-cli-v0.36.1.tar.gz https://defakto-releases.s3.us-west-2.amazonaws.com/defakto-cli/v0.36.1/defakto-cli-v0.36.1-linux-arm64.tar.gz && tar -zxvf defakto-cli-v0.36.1.tar.gz

Move the defakto binary onto your PATH:

sudo mv defakto /usr/local/bin/defakto

You should now have the defakto-cli utility available!

defakto --version
defakto version v0.36.1
